Our Fall/Winter Charity charity projects:

Susan W is collecting the NICU Baby Hats and Blankets for a drop-off to Maria Fareri, in early September. So, bring in whatever you have for the NICU project.

I’m collecting hats/scarves, etc for  our “Lucille Project” going to the Coachmen Family shelter again this year.

Lois is collecting the “Warm Hats for Warm Hearts” newborn hats going to White Plains Hospital.

Kathy F is collecting blankets/throws, lap-ghans, etc. for the “Veterans NH”, in Montrose.

Meet-up on Friday, July 29th

The Stitch & Bitch will meet-up on Friday, July 29th, 1-3 p.m. @ Panera.

Summer in full swing and some ladies are away or busy with Summer activities. I get asked each week, “are we meeting”? With a group as large as ours someone is usually around to stitch. I usually arrive early to claim our back table. If you arrive earlier (or I’m not there) just do the same.

Meet-up on June 10th. Please read note…

The Stitch & Bitch will meet-up at our Panera, this Friday,  6/10, 1-3 pm.

Ladies, as a group we celebrate the best of times and rally around during challenging and difficult times. I’m writing, with permission from our dear Barb B. Over the past few weeks she has been dealing with a lot and coping with the nerve-wracking uncertainty involved with being diagnosed – in her case with Melanoma. It is early stage 1, the doctor said it is unlikely to have spread and they are taking every precaution. She is being treated at one of the best hospitals: Memorial Sloan Kettering. Surgery will be done early morning Thursday, 6/9. Please keep Barb, her doctors and her family in prayer.

Will keep you posted.
