It was an afternoon of pure HeArt

Greenburgh Town Hall currently has “Matters of the HeArt” art exhibition; they have 135 works of Art by Westchester residents (55 years and older). Each Artist may have one piece of Art on display. Two of our members, Susan and Lorraine have their Art in the exhibit again this year.

Mrs. Sarah Bracey White, Executive Director of Arts and Culture at Town of Greenburgh started us off on the tour and took a group photo of us… we were her first group “tour”. She was very kind to also give us some of their catered deli foods for lunch! Our Susan guided us around giving us insight to the Artist and their Art.

Yes, we did knit & crochet! The cafeteria accommodated all us well and a few of the ladies expressed interest in returning, soon. So, mark your calendar for Friday, May 3rd @ 1 p.m. We’ll be spending another Stitch & Bitch in the cafeteria of the Greenburgh Town Hall. Just bring lunch and WIP’s.

For those who missed out yesterday if you don’t get to see the art before next month you will be able to take a self-guided tour on May 3rd. The “Matters of the HeArt” exhibition runs through May 8.
